The May 4th production at Hammond Hall in Winter Harbor will showcase theater, poetry, music, modern dance, new media, fiber art, photography, and visual art.
Behind the Apron is gathering passionate artists to collaborate on the 2007 events and production. Using the momentum and excitement from 2007 we will continue by expanding the scope for our bigger and more in-depth 2008 events.
With more preparation and funding the 2008 production could include more technical and stage set elements, more live music, a juried art show, and involvement from other local organizations such as, schools, historical societies and grange halls. We would also like to produce a documentary DVD of the making of the production and/or publish a book or apron writings, photos and stories, both of which would be for public distribution.
